Beste lives with her mother and seven siblings in Balboa, an area near school. Her father has passed away and her mother is a farmer. Her mother earns a very low and unstable income and struggles to meet the needs of the family. Beste needs support so that she can attend school.

Orphans and children who still have their parents attend school at the Misaka Home, which cares for over 200 children. Children in the International Needs Zambia Sponsorship program receive a quality education, school supplies, a uniform, shoes and a backpack, a blanket, medical care, and spiritual care. Their families also receive monthly food baskets and spiritual and financial counseling.
