Dev lives with his parents in the city of Siliguri, in India. Dev's father works as a water supplier and his mother is a homemaker. It is very difficult for them to provide for their family on the income that they earn, and they need your help to ensure Dev is able to stay in school. The family lives in a home made of tin.

The International Needs project in Siliguri assists Nepali children living in India. The children receive assistance with schooling costs, books, equipment, uniforms, and medical care. They also receive Christian nurture and Bible teaching.
