Karishma lives in a rented room in Talchikhel, Kathmandu with her mother and brother. Karishma's father was killed in a tragic accident 3 years ago. Her mother works as a laborer earning daily wages to support the family, but she needs help to send Karishma to school. Karishma helps her mother by sweeping the floors and washing the dishes.

An education is so important because it helps break the cycle of poverty and give hope for a brighter future. Sponsorship in Nepal provides children with tuition costs and they are lovingly taught the Word of God.
